Huma-Air Tuning Regulator For The Artemis/Spa PP800

Unfortunately the original valve assembly the Artemis (Spa / SMK)  PP800 series pistol is not very concistent. So we made an adittional tuning regulator for it and you will have a great concistant shotstring in a minute! This Huma-Air regulator is placed inside the pressure tube and stands on the valve house body. You only need to remove the outside oring of the factory valvehouse so the regulator can vent properly. The combination of our vented regulator technic and the plenum for the regulated air volume makes will make your tuning process superior above all other regulators in the market.
No further modifications to your pressure tube have to be done. So no drilling in the tube and also no creeping up in power during time. The PP800 offers a great platform for further tuning and modifictions.

The tuning regulator comes preset on the most common pressure setting, or we will adjust it according to your personal wishes. It is also equipped with a clear pressure scale label, so you can very easy re-adjust or fine tune the pressure setting suitable to your wishes.

The benefits of the Huma-Air, Artemis PP800 tuning regulator are:

  • Higher accuracy of your pisol due to the elimination of the pelletspeed fluctuations
  • A constant pellet speed over the full working pressure range.
  • Designed for a wide pressure range 85-150 bar
  • Easy to adjust without the need of a regulator tester because of the clear pressure scale on the regulator

When you order your Huma-Air, Artemis PP800 you will receive:

  • Your regulator preset to your own wishes;
  • A pressure scale in Bar’s on the regulator, for fine-tuning or re-adjustment;
  • We will include a “Huma-Air regulated” breech sticker;
  • Fitting instructions as pdf download.

I have not finally set this up yet as I need a replacement transfer port and hammer spring. I did insert it and test and the results were encouraging with little change in ftlb's energy. Unfortunately as it had come from the Netherlands and as I don't want to shoot rabbits at 50yards I have taken pistol apart and await UK spec parts.

Very easy to install but had some major problems getting consistent muzzle energy.
First 2 pellets would read 8.4flb of muzzle energy then would drop off every shot not what a regulator is supposed to do.
Very inconsistent took some working out why.
Turns out it wasn't pre adjusted from the factory and was 2 full turns out more than it should of been .
Where I've had to remove and install so many times to get this thing working it now loses cylinder pressure after reaching 150bar.
Looks like I need new o rings or a service kit.
It is very well made and I'm sure i just just a bad one but will have to contact customer service to obtain a service kit.

Delivery to uk was just over 1 week and arrived well packed. You should be confident stripping your pistol before attempting fitting which is fairly straightforward with no modification required. Study the diagram and fitting instructions carefully. Expect a degree of fiddling with your setup to get the reg to run at its optimum (hammer spring/valve spring adjustment). Ideally the regulator needs to be removed each time to adjust the pressure.
