Bsa Ultra SE Tuning regulator By Huma-Air
For the Bsa Ultra SE models we have designed an unique regulator that replaces the original “body adaptor” part of the rifle.
It’s made of Chrome Molybdeen steal what is blued so it has the same finish as the original BSA part.
Designed for a wide pressure range (70-150 bar) to suit sub 12 ft/lbs (UK) and high power FAC models.
After the regulator is placed the pressure gauge still indicates the fill pressure of the main pressure tube.
It’s very easy to install on your rifle, just depressurize the rifle, unscrew the body adaptor en screw the regulator in its place and your are finished.
The regulator is vented to the atmosphere without the need of drilling a hole or what so ever. This guaranties very consistent regulating behavior without creeping up in pellet speed during time!

Huma-Air Quality Control
Huma Air regulators are CNC produced out of high grade aircraft aluminum and bronze. To guarantee a perfect product, every regulator is individually assembled, tested in a computerized simulation program and adjusted to the requested pressure.
We only use high-end materials and our belleville springs are designed for critical applications to achieve the highest repeat accuracy. This gives our regulators a repeat cycle less than 1% difference.
Huma Air provides a 2-year warranty on their regulatiors. Excluded from warranty are shipping costs and parts that are subject to normal wear and tear such as o-rings and valve discs.

* Please remove the brass restrictor part out of the valvehouse and check if your transferport is between 4 – 4,5 mm. Otherwise open it up for best performance.

Fast delivery all the way to PA in three days. Works as stated in the description. Stock gun produced fourth shots at 10.3 ftlb when power was increased to 11.5 Fulbright the shot count dropped to twenty shots. With the reg set at 110 bar and the transfer port drilled out to 4mm all the preload backed off on the stock hammer spring the gun produced fourth very consistent shots at 11.5 ftlb with 8.3 grain AA field pellets. Set like this the gun will go over 12ftlb with heavier pellets, not an issue in the US. Defiantly worth every penny.

Ordered the huma bsa ultra se reg which turned up in under a 5 days.
Tuned the gun as per huma specs but then had to turn reg pressure down as it was way above uk 12fpe for .22 calibre.
But despite that the reg is offering 20-25 shots extra per fill and with a bit of valve adjustment and a weaker hammer spring it now does 0.6fpe and 16fps spreads over 56 shots but I am still tuning to lower the spreads.
Very happy with the reg and the quality of the engineering is good.
As a lane regulator user normally I am very impressed with the huma reg.
Highly recommended reg manufacturer.

Excellent upgrade to my Ultra SE. The reg arrived quickly and was easy to fit (XTX Air has comprehensive fitting instructions online as well as videos). Rather than drilling the existing transfer port to a larger size, I bought a new one (that had already been opened up to the correct size) so that I could return the rifle to standard if I needed to. I also had to shorten the hammer spring by a coil as the power was to close to the UK legal limit for comfort (again, a new spring was bought for the sake of returning it all to standard if needed). After playing about with power levels it’s now sitting at 11.5 ft/lbs and giving 125 shots (with a longer air cylinder) before any noticeable drop on target. Bearing in mind, I’m not a gunsmith or tuner and I’ve never opened up a PCP before (only springers), I’m pleased with how this went. Just watch the videos and follow the instructions, it isn’t hard, just takes time, patience and pellets.

Bsa Ultra in. 22 require a strip and reseal as chrono figures and accuracy were very irratic. Might as well put a reg. in it at same time. Very easy to fit. Now give single hole 10 shot groups. The rats do not stand a chance. Now get at least 50 good full power shot. Very pleased.

Ruim 50 schoten met een zeer constante snelheid. Wel heb ik de transferpoort moeten vergroten, en ik heb de hamerveer veruild voor een lichter exemplaar. Monteren van de Huma regulator heeft niet veel omhanden als je een beetje technisch bent. Al met al zeer tevreden en zeker een aanrader.
