Huma-Air tuning regulator Gen3 for the FX impact MKII airrifle as replacement for the factory regulator.
This FX Impact MKII Tuning Regulator by Huma-Air is specially designed as a “one on one” replacement regulator for your FX Impact MKII.
Unfortunately the fixed limited space in the FX Impact MKII action was not sufficient for our standard Huma-Air Regulator design, so we had to comply our design to the ratio’s used by FX.
Nevertheless we have accomplished to make a great replacement regulator which will solve the known issues of the factory made regulator.
This regulator is a replacement for FX regulators with 10 mm belleville springs.
So what can you expect of the Huma-Air FX Impact Tuning Regulator:
Three special pressure ranges are available so you can tune the rifle exactly according to your own wishes
This Huma-Air FX impact regulator can be adjusted higher in pressure from the outside while the rifle is under pressure.
By using another type of material for the valve and piston, there is no way you can damage the piston because of faulty pressure adjustments.
We also supply some extra valves, so in case you adjust the pressure to the wrong side, and you damage the valve, it can be replaced without any extra costs.
Pressure settings
The design of the regulator makes it posible for setting it exactly to your wishes while placed in you FX impact MKII by watching the output pressure gauge on you rifle.
We have currently two pressure ranges for the FX Impact Gen3 regulator available:
- The extra high pressure range, 135-200 Bar what will suit all calibers within the high power range and for more extreme purposes and very good for the slugs and heavy pellets.
- A low pressure range, 60-135 Bar, what will suit the lower power rifles like the sub 12 ft/lbs versions perfectly.
Please note: you need to do the stacking of the belleville springs on the piston yourself according to the manual, because we do not want to risk them to fall off the piston during shipping.

The original AMP regulator gave inconsistent pressures and it had a slow creep. Replacing all the regulator seals and cleaning the contact surfaces didn’t fully resolve the problems. I considered purchasing a brass plunger to replace the original delrin one. However, I decided, instead, to purchase the complete HUMA regulator as it is claimed to be superior to the AMP. This certainly appears to true in my case, as it has resolved the above problems; and the rifle is now very consistent. Having previously worked on the AMP regulator, I found the HUMA one was quite easy to install. I’d definitely recommend it.

Very nice products from Huma-Air! Installing was very easy. My MKII did not reach the presure setting I was aiming for, I wrote to support of Huma-Air and they solved it with a placement of an extra two belevederes, they are supplied in the standard delivery. Now the pressure is right on spot. No creep and a constant muzzle speed withe a spread of 3 m/s. Very pleased with it.

I have the low pressure set on this huma regulator set at 70 bar. And it has no creep. And is very consistent especially with the second regulator from huma just like a M3. And when I would like the set, setup for the heavy slugs I can put a set high pressure belvederes in it and run the set at a higher pressure than the standard fx regulator.

Fitted the reg to my Impact, but I’m a bit in the deception side.
The reg does creep depending on the internal pressure of the reg.
Above 230 bars I’m a 121 bars.
When runnin under 200 bars the pressure drops to 117-118 bars.
I followed all the process but I’m a little disappointed.
Did anyone experience such an experience or is my gun faulty?

I’ve had a Huma regulator on my BSA R10 for about four years without a hint of a problem. Always returns excellent results., so when I bought an FX Impact Mk2 in FAC I naturally fitted one to that too. The consistency is amazing and has made an already extremely accurate rifle just that bit better. Easy to fit following the instructions and YouTube videos and so simple to set up correctly. This is an excellent, dependable regulator. Fitting and adjusting is easy, although i would say the trigger group certainly needs removing for accurate adjustment
The only criticism I have, is why do they use a slot for a flat heat screwdriver on the adjuster screw? This causes more problems than using the fx original hex key for pressure adjustment..

I have owned and used extensively a multitude of air rifles over the years (all FAC / High power) from Daystate to FX. Following significant testing, tuning and thousands of rounds shot, I have yet to find a regulator that outperforms Huma! Huma simply make the most reliable and consistent regulators for PCP air rifles. All my PCP air rifles have Huma regulators fitted. Even brand new rifles instantly have a Huma regulator installed. Simply put, Huma regulators are industry leading. The build quality combined with the stability, consistency and reliability enable elite shooters to tune and have there rifles perform at the highest possible level. I could not recommend nor complement Huma regulators enough.

This regulator works just a Huma advertise. The Impact MK2 reg in my particular sub 12 ft/lb rifle had a tendency to creep up when not in use causing the first couple of shots to be way off, took quite a few seconds between shots to stabilise and most annoyingly had would settle between 45 to 55 bar and FPS spread was 30 to 40fps with sorted jsb pellets. The factory item was stripped and reinstalled twice but with no improvements. The Huma reg took just 20 or 30 shots to settle and seems absolutely bullet proof. Pellet speed spread is now maximum 9 FPS over 20 shots.
