With the FX Maverick or FX Wildcat MKIII Slug Power kit you can get just a bit extra out of your FX Maverick or FX Wildcat MKIII air rifle when you use slugs

Part of this kit is a 5.5 mm (.22) pellet probe that’s adjustable in length by means of an allen screw at the rear. With included bushes that’ll slide on with an interference fit, the probe is also suitable for the calibre 6.35 mm (.25) and 7,62 (.30) The seating position, i.e. how far the slugs are pushed into the barrel, influences the accuracy and this adjustable pellet probe provides you with the means to experiment with that. An important feature, as you can fine tune on one specific slug. The probe is not suitable for pellet use.

Another part in the FX Wildcat MKIII/Maverick Slug Power kit that influences the speed is a tungsten hammer weight. A lot of extra speed can be obtained. An upgrade that causes the valve to be opened for a prolonged period of time, which releases more pressurized air to thrust a projectile out of the barrel.

This is possible because of the material density of tungsten, which is 1.7x that of steel and thus increases the weight, which causes the longer valve release. A handy improvement very much suited for use with heavier slugs, which need more thrusting force.

All parts are machined with very tight tolerances and the set is suitable for use in all types of the FX Maverick and FX Wildcat MKIII.
