Huma-Air Tuning Regulator For The Hatsan Gladius
For the Hatsan Gladius airrifle (also called Hammerli Pneuma) we have a pressure regulator available that can be pushed into the pressure tube.
This regulator is vented to the atmosphere without any modification to your pressure tube. So no drilling in the tube and also no creeping up in power during time.
For the real power lovers we have also an XXL volume plenum available to tune your rifle to the maximum power for extra heavy pellets. You can select it by choosing the .30 model in the options.

Huma-Air Quality Control
Huma Air regulators are CNC produced out of high grade aircraft aluminum and bronze. To guarantee a perfect product, every regulator is individually assembled, tested in a computerized simulation program and adjusted to the requested pressure.
We only use high-end materials and our belleville springs are designed for critical applications to achieve the highest repeat accuracy. This gives our regulators a repeat cycle less than 1% difference.
Huma Air provides a 2-year warranty on their regulatiors. Excluded from warranty are shipping costs and parts that are subject to normal wear and tear such as o-rings and valve disks.
Pressure settings of the Huma-Air, Hatsan Gladius tuning regulator
Your Huma-Air, Hatsan Gladius tuning regulator comes preset on the most common pressure setting. It is equipped with a clear pressure scale label, so it’s very easy to re-adjust, or fine tune the pressure setting without the need of a regulator pressure tester.
The output pressure range is adjustable from 90-170 bar. If you have other wishes please contact us.
Aditional information:
Only when you have bought your rifle in- or after 2017, please let us know the production date of the pressure tube. This date is printed on the fillcap in month/year.
For older rifles it is not necessary.

I bought this for my new .22 Gladius Long. Quality build, impressively fast delivery and very easy to install. (Note: Get install directions online) A consistent 900fps +/- with JSB Hades till you fall off the reg. Every Gladius air cylinder should be equipped with one of these!

Hatsan Gladius Long .22 Cal. / So far , great ,……… I have it tuned about mid-way , sounds quieter & I noticed my target hitting ability is more consistent . A cold front & rain came to Tx. , so I’m taking a break on plinkin’ right now , but the regulator wll make it much more fun once the sun comes back out .

Contrary to Georges I really like the clever design that allows you to mount it without having to drill a hole in the air tube, I have however made some other modifications to the valve housing and do not plan to use it without the regulator but instead of drilling a hole in the tube I milled a little groove in the valve-housing to vent the regulator, I also turned of a bit of material and coned the visible part of the valve housing so now it looks like the air-tube and mechanism-housing belongs together and it shure made the install more elegant. 😉
I have only just installed it in a new gun so I assume the barrel (though made by Lothar Walther) needs a few hundred shots through it to preform really good, early chrono testing is really consistent. We’ll see about longevity but for now I’d definitely say it was money well spent.

I installed the Huma regulator in my Hatsan Gladius .177 cal. My 10 shot group size went from quarter size to dime size at 43 yards. I’m using JSB 10.34gr pellets and getting great velocity. The regulator was super easy to install, and gave no problems at all. I found the instructions to be straight forward and very easy to follow. This is a great “drop in” fix that I’m going to enjoy for a long, long time.

I have purchased the model for Hatsan air tube. Now the regulator is mounted in and I have done some velocity measures. It seems to work as it should. The only issue is the venting method. I find both modes described in the manual not very practical or too invasive. In my other regulated PCP airrifle there is a tiny hole in the cylinder drilled in the right place by the factory. Such method is more « elegant » in my eyes. I will continue my tests in order to learn whether doing nothing about venting is really decreasing the performance. Generally, I am very satisfied with the regulator. There is a clear gain in the accuracy of my Gladius.

Because it is a after market product the venthole is not standard in the Hatsan. If you preffer to make one it will be a ellegant solution and it will work great on your Hatsan Gladius
