The NiteCore I2 NEW intellicharge battery charger charges up to twice as fast as the previous version. It is optimized for IMR batteries and has even more intelligence. It chooses the correct charging current itself and adjusts the charging program based on the type of battery, condition and charge level. This is done separately for both charging stations. The I2 can automatically detect battery types such as Li-ion, Ni-MH and Ni-Cd and even non-rechargeable batteries.

The NiteCore i2 battery charger is compatible with the following Li-Ion batteries: 26650, 22650, 18650, 17670, 18490, 17500, 16340, 16340 (RCR123), 14500 and 10440.
The NiteCore i2 also charges the following Ni-Mh /Ni-CD batteries: AA, AAA and C.
